The past few weeks have been filled with a whirlwind of news surrounding Nintendo. After revealing its highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 hybrid console on April 2, the company initially set pre-orders to begin a week later, on April 9. However, those plans were postponed indefinitely in both the U.S. and Canada due to the impact of American tariffs. Throughout this period, we were also left in the dark about Canadian pricing for most of the Switch 2 games and accessories.
Fortunately, Good Friday brought some clarity. On April 24, Nintendo confirmed that pre-orders for the Switch 2 would officially open in Canada. Additionally, the pricing for all related games and peripherals was made public, including the hefty $110 price tag for Mario Kart World.
It’s been a lot to keep up with, and many of the pre-order details we’ve covered earlier have quickly become outdated. With that in mind, we’ve compiled a final, comprehensive guide to Canadian Switch 2 pre-orders. Below, you’ll find a list of retailers offering the Switch 2 and its accessories, along with links to the relevant pages (some of which may be placeholders for now).
(Note: The base Nintendo Switch 2 console is priced at $629.99, while the bundle that includes a digital copy of Mario Kart World costs $699.99. This makes the bundle an excellent deal, saving you $70 off the individual game price.)
